ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Marvin D. Marable was born in rural Halifax County, Virginia. At an early age he moved to White Plains, New York, located in Westchester County. A few years later his family moved to Mount Vernon, New York. Marvin graduated from Mount Vernon High School. He served in the Army and Army National Guard where he was a commissioned officer. He served in an infantry unit and a military police unit. Marvin was a police officer for the Mount Vernon, Police Department for several years. He was then appointed as a State Trooper with the New York State Police. While serving with the State Police, he was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administrations (DEA) Task Force. Marvin was injured while serving on the task force and eventually retired due to his injury.

Marvin graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York, with a degree in criminal justice. He then worked in Chicago for a while before relocating to Atlanta, where he became a government contractor, and he invested in commercial and residential real estate.

Marvin is currently working on several books; the first book" Deadly Roses - The Twenty Year Curse" is a true crime book in which Marvin is considered a prime suspect. Deadly Roses is available for purchase at www.createspace.com/900002733 Barnes and Noble, and Amazon.com.
